Exploring Broken Bow in My Favorite Dresses

Table of Contents

This weekend, Harrison and I celebrated my birthday in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. I quickly learned that this place is filled with beautiful views. As a blogger, I’m always on the lookout for beautiful things, and I love to compliment a beautiful view with a beautiful dress. Or three in my case!

I was gifted these three dresses from Chicwish, an online retail women’s boutique. As soon as I got them in the mail, I couldn’t wait to photograph them. Not only did they fit perfectly, but I knew they’d fit in perfectly with the gorgeous Oklahoma landscape.

Keep reading for a full review of these dresses and for a glimpse of Oklahoma’s beauty.

Dress 1: That’s A Wrap Floral Midi Dress

This mint green dress is frilly and girly in the best ways possible.

With rouched sleeves and a sheer patterned material that has femininity written all over it, it’s a perfect dress for a date night or romantic picnic.

I paired it with my cowboy boots and a simple boater hat. (The flowers were compliment of Harrison for my birthday!).

I’m wearing a size S/M, and am 5’6.

Dress 2: Floral Embroidered Maxi Dress

The details of this floral maxi are so beautiful, from the delicate lace-up V-neckline to the perfectly embroidered flowers.

It’s both gorgeous and practical; there is a built in lining under the skirt so that it’s not see through.

Even though it has long sleeves, since it is thin, you can still style it comfortably for summer. But I also intend to bring it to Iceland with me, and wear some fleece leggings underneath.

The dress is in a size medium, and you can find it here.

Dress 3: Graceful Belle Maxi Dress

I’ve saved my favorite dress for last.

Here’s why it’s my all time favorite dress right now:

  1. It fits like a glove
  2. It would be perfect on any body type
  3. The tiered layers are so stylish and unique
  4. It is so twirl-able

It comes with a ribbon to tie around your waist. The way it fits at the shoulders has a slimming effect, and when you twirl it floats beautifully!

I’m wearing a size S/M, which is perfect for anyone who wears either size, since the waist stretches. I paired it with this straw hat from Forever 21 with a chiffon ribbon, which you can buyย here!

I can’t even think of a more perfect dress for this stunning scenery- a big thanks to Chicwish! Here’s a direct link to this gorgeous dress. It also comes in mint!
