Glamping (v.) a portmanteau of glamour and camping and describes a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services not usually associated with “traditional” camping.
In short, being pampered while out in the wilderness.
And let me tell you, Broken Bow takes glamping to another level with its many cabins and rental options.
We stayed at The Zaza cabin through Beavers Bend Luxury Cabin Rentals and fell in love!
Here are some of the best aspects of glamping in Broken Bow.
1. Bathtubs get a whole lot more romantic
Would anyone else like to have a bubble bath Jacuzzi in the floor?
Our cabin definitely was for one couple only, since there were no walls to separate rooms. Right behind this fireplace is the living room and kitchen. And right behind the camera is the bed.
2. Hot tubbing with a view
If you’re sick of bubble baths, just head around back to your private hot tub with a view.
This was definitely one of my favorite aspects of glamping.
Each morning while it poured down rain, Harrison and I got to sit outside in our hot tub and listen to it. So romantic!!
3. Luxurious living spaces
I am perfectly fine with being pampered. So if granite countertops and comfy couches are an option, count me in!
When we entered our cabin, the TV was pre-set to a love music station, it smelled like fresh lavender, and the place was spotless. Customer service for the win!
4. Close proximity to gorgeous views
Get the views without getting a crick in your neck sleeping in a tent.
Okay, okay, I’m being a bit harsh towards camping. But I think that this view was even better after a night drenched in slumber in a fluffy king-sized bed.
5. All of the facilities
Bathroom, luxury shower, air conditioning, plenty of room to change, need I go on?
I mean, I’ll change in a tent or a car if I have to, but having the space to kick back and relax after a day of outdoor activities makes vacationing that much easier!
What do you prefer? Camping or glamping?
Both have their time and place, but Broken Bow definitely does glamping right.
