Tyler is a gorgeous place in East Texas with some incredible things to do and see.
Each time I visit Tyler I make it a point to eat at two places in particular because of just how unique they are.
Both of these places combine beauty and ambiance with delicious cuisine.
If you’re visiting the Rose Capital of America, you’ve got to stop at these two restaurants!
1. Lago del Pino
Get ready to feel like you’re in a resort.
From the patio of this restaurant you’ll see lake views on a huge stretch of land.
After your meal, take a walk to the gazebo as you digest.
Lago del Pino has great gluten free and vegetarian options.
They also have live music and themed weekend nights, and you can book them for events.
This place was practically made to be a wedding venue, and it can seat a ton of people.
Recommendation:
The filet, ribeye, or cedar plank salmon are excellent decisions.
Our second time visiting I got the tilapia which was also incredible.
2. The Grove Kitchen & Gardens
In two words, The Grove is eclectic and chic.
The perfect brunch spot, you’ll enjoy live music and an outdoor/indoor option.
The patio has so many fun and funky chairs and wall art that are Alice-in-Wonderland-esque.
Check out all of this whimsical decor:
They also have a little market where you can get the most delicious smoothies, made exactly how you want. No juice or sugar additives- just fruit, almond butter, ice, etc.
Recommendation:
The omelets, and the peach almond butter smoothie (it tastes like ice cream).
(Our second time visiting I got the cobb salad. It comes with amazing chicken tenders on it!)
And if you’re gluten free- their gluten free toast tastes just like normal bread… it’s incredible.
I hope you’re able to check these two places out the next time you’re in Tyler!
Cheers!
