7 Ways to Be Cozy yet Stylish this Winter Season

Just because the cold weather is in, doesn’t mean looking chic and stylish is out!

There are so many ways to look sharp in the winter, and my recent trip to the Express Factory Outlet made it especially easy this season.

From their incredible sales and deals to their nod to the latest fashion trends, you’ll find everything you need to dress fashionably this winter.

Here are seven tips to help you stay cozy yet stylish this winter season!

1. Teddy coats- the ultimate cozy fashion

If you haven’t noticed, teddy coats are so in this winter!

Also if you haven’t noticed, they’re basically like wearing a fuzzy blanket, so what are you waiting for?

Teddy coats are the ultimate cozy winter fashion statement!

This jacket comes in this oatmeal color as well as the classic teddy golden brown.

2. Layers, layers, layers

Wear layers to help you stay warm!

It makes transitioning from the cold outdoors to a warm office or holiday party so much easier.

Here are a few ways to stay cozy while looking cute:

  • putting on fleece lined leggings
  • wearing sheer black tights underneath a dress
  • wearing long sleeves under a blazer
  • throwing a teddy coat over a chic sleeveless turtleneck

You can find all of these styles at your closest Express Factory Outlet location!

3. Accessorize accordingly

Add a cute rancher hat or a soft beanie to keep your head warm while braving the cold!

A chic scarf will definitely help keep you warm as well.

Don’t forget sunglasses– just because it’s winter, doesn’t mean the sun isn’t out anymore!

4. Wear a smart shoe

Find a shoe that is both cute and comfortable!

These adorable booties from Express Factory Outlet are the perfect match for any winter outfit!

They come in multiple colors, so choose one that matches your style.

5. Mix and match neutrals

You don’t need to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe each season!

If you stick to neutrals (gray, white, cream, tan, beige, black, etc.), it’s easy to match different pieces with different items.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I chose this teddy coat and beige boot from Express Factory.

6. Have some winter staples

There are several things that are worth investing in and making sure you absolutely love them:

  • Shoes
  • Jacket
  • Jeans
  • Bag
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses

Notice that these are items you tend to not have too many of (except maybe shoes, let’s be honest).

Each of these pieces are staples you’ll wear more than once a week, so you want to make sure you love what you’ve chosen!

7. Play with textures

Style your outfit with different textures to keep things interesting.

This is really easy to do by adding a jacket with texture or boots with an extra flair.

Whether you add a teddy coat, a sherpa sweater, a fuzzy scarf, or some snakeskin boots to your outfit, anything with texture draws attention.

Make sure it’s a piece you love, then go out and rock it this winter!

What are some tips you can think of that I haven’t mentioned?

Stay warm!
